  LG Appoints New Mobile GM

LG Electronics has today announced the appointment of Nathan Dunn to the position of General Manager of Mobile Communications.

As General Manager of Mobile Communications, Mr. Dunn will focus on building on LG Mobile's market share and brand awareness within Australia as well as further developing the New Zealand market.

Responsible for leading the LG Mobile Communications team to its achieve targets, Mr. Dunn brings a wealth of experience from his previous role of General Manager for the GE Consumer Products business in Australasia.

During his nine year tenure with GE, Mr Dunn managed the growth and distribution of GE Lighting & Appliance products throughout Australasia and was directly responsible for sales, profit management and market development.
 
Mr. Dunn commented on LG's reputation for challenging traditional marketing boundaries to build a very solid Mobile brand in the Australian market. "We're entering a period of consolidation within the category, and I'm very much looking forward to working with this talented team to implement some aggressive and innovative marketing strategies that will see LG gain further market share from key players in the not too distant future," he said.
