"Review: Anywhere Navigation With Nokia"

By Branko Miletic | Published:2008-09-22

I have to admit, I have never used a GPS phone for what it was intended to do--that is why using the Nokia 6210 GPS navigator was quite a novelty, not least due to the fact that using the GPS was simple and straightforward, if a touch slow.

Firstly, the phone overall is another top notch offering from Nokia. In fact as Nokia phones go, this is a solid offering. It uses HSDPA for high-speed web access over the 3G network, a clean 6 x 4 cm screen and a very smooth slide-out keyboard.

But wait there'res more. In my opinion, the one thing that Nokia does better than any other phone maker is getting long life out of their batteries. The life that the 6210 battery gave me was as usual for Nokia, far more than I expected, and for those on the road or in the air a lot, this is one feature that is highly appreciated.

The look, feel and operation of the slider mechanism is good and the buttons, like on most Nokia phones are not great, but functional nonetheless.
