The two new Vista-compatible notebooks comprise of the top-end E4810, which replaces the E8210 and the A6030, the successor to the A6020. The top-end model is designed as a desktop alternative, featuring the latest generation Intel Centrino Pro with the 64-bit Intel Core 2 Duo processor, NVIDIA external graphics, a 15.4-inch screen, a maximum of 4GB memory and 120GB hard drive. Fujitsu says the new Intel platform translates to "greater efficiency and productivity, enabling IT professionals to easily identify and recover problem network areas and protect network computing assets."

In terms of the security the notebook features a biometric fingerprint sensor, a 2-passsword hard disk lock, a 3D shock sensor for enhanced hard disk protection, Trusted Platform Module (TPM) support, a BIOS password and a LifeBook Lock. There is also a 1.3 megapixel camera and stereo microphones built-in, as well as three built-in wireless antenna with 802.11n support.
The other new LifeBook is also equipped with the next generation Intel processor technology and 802.11n wireless support. Also featuring a 15.4-inch screen, Intel GMA X3100 video graphics, spill resistant keyboard and 3D shock sensor to prevent hard disk damage, the notebook's hard drive features SATA interface technology and the touchpad now serves as a digitizer as well.
