The "Trade-in for a
Toshiba" promotion builds on
Toshiba's existing e-CYCLE program that helps customers dispose of end of life PCs. Through this program,
Toshiba will take-back any brand of personal computer and recycle it through its recycling partners.
According to the company, there is a limit of up to five units which can be traded in and purchased, to any individual or business.
Toshiba's National Distribution Sales Manager, Angela Walker said, "We aim to efficiently source, manufacture, distribute and recycle our products to ensure minimum impact on the environment."
"End of life equipment returned to Toshiba, is disposed of in accordance with best environmental practice and government guidelines through Toshiba's e-CYCLE program. Toshiba partners with professional recycling partner MRI Australia who dismantle PCs and notebooks for recycling at Environmental Protection Authority licensed and ISO certified facilities," added Walker.
